On the Lower Delta, fisheries manager Dave Armstrong recommended fishing Hurricane, Little Lizard and Big Briar creeks and anywhere in McReynolds Lake. Above I-65, he pointed to Big Beaver, Bear, Little and Nap lakes.

To enter the 11th Annual No Hard Hats Bream Tournament, which is the first weekend in May, contact Wayne Trusty at (251) 937-8855. Anglers donate their catch for a fish fry after the weigh-in.
For current fishing information above I-65 and for dates on their monthly bream tournaments, call Upper Bryant Landing at (251) 580-2610, or visit them on Baldwin County Road 21 north of Stockton.
Access below I-65 is available at Perkins' Hurricane Landing near Bay Minette off State Route 225. Perkins' is a good choice for fishing McReynolds Lake. Both landings offer camping.
